Madeleine Hutchins of Hampton appeared in Pomfret School's Spring Drama Production of "Our Town," May 9 - 11.

Madeleine Hutchins of Hampton was recently in the cast of Pomfret's spring play, Thornton Wilder's 1938 Pulitzer Prizewinning "Our Town," on May 9 - 11.

Divided into three acts--Daily Life, Love and Marriage, and Death and Dying--and with Wilder's stage direction of "no curtain; no scenery," the play follows the everyday lives, dreams, loves and losses of the residents of the fictional, close-knit New Hampshire town of Grover's Corners in the years leading up to World War I.

Madeleine, a member of the Pomfret class of 2014, had the role of the Stage Manager.
